We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to support the Head of HR Operations, BBC News, with the strategic and day to day HR operational activity across the BBC News Division.

You will bring evidence-based practice into the organisation and support organisational effectiveness by developing and implementing solutions aligned to strategy whilst role modelling great personal and team leadership.
As a HR Business Partner you will work directly with the Head of HR Operations, BBC News; and will take a lead in implementing the HR people plan and embedding our HR Operating Model.
Main responsibilities will be:
We’re looking for an experienced HR Business Partner, with a strong HR generalist track record, supporting client groups across the full spectrum of strategic and operational HR activity in a large matrix organisation.
You are able to think outside the box and come up with fresh ideas to plan and deliver the HR strategy within your division, and have significant experience managing and advising on a wide range of complex employment matters balancing business need with legal risk in a unionised environment.
You have previous experience of influencing and delivering change, and applying best practice HR within a complex environment. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are also key to this role, alongside coaching and supporting senior stakeholders to reach the appropriate and often creative solutions and understand the impact of any decisions.
You have a good understanding of project planning and ability to deliver to timetable, with a proactive and problem solving approach, who can build collaborative relationships with stakeholders, foster innovation, effectively working and addressing issues in a timely manner.
