Our HR team is going through an exciting time of transformation and we want you to be a part of it. We are looking to recruit a HR / ER Advisors who will be responsible for managing an ER Caseload within a dedicated business area (with some more complex cases) so experience within this field is crucial. This role is completely remote so you can be based from anywhere in the UK.
Roles and Responsibilities:
You will be working as part of our close-knit HR shared services team, providing immediate employee relations / HR advice to managers in areas such as performance, capability, site removals, conduct, grievances, TUPE, WTD and Absence, in line with employment law, company policies and procedures across the Channel Islands and Ireland.
Coaching managers through the sometimes difficult and complex ER cases they are managing, over the telephone providing a sound solutions-based approach
Meeting Service Level Agreement targets in respect of both the quality of advice and service timescales
Delivery of ER-based training sessions when needed to operational managers in conjunction with L&D team
Supporting with draft employee relations correspondence (including sanction letters and invites.
Supporting regionally across the UK with consultation meetings and attendance at high risk employee relations matters coaching managers on a face to face basis when needed.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of employment law, best practice and communicating these changes to managers
Supporting the review of HR policies & procedures and ad hoc projects
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a employee relations role having managed large ER caseloads
Extensive experience in coaching and advising managers of all abilities in HR matters including disciplinary, grievance, redundancy and TUPE
Resilient and confident in advising & negotiating managers on the telephone and via video call
Excellent understanding of UK employment law
High level of attention to detail
Flexible approach to working demands and priorities
Great relationship building with hiring managers and other key stakeholders
Experience of Irish Law would be highly desirable
Delivery focused, “can do†approach
