The role

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of HR Advisor. This role is based in Camden and will have Hybrid working with the expectation to be in the office for at least 2 days a week. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering quality and effective HR advice on HR case work including, absence management, disciplinary and capability
  • Producing meaningful HR KPIs to support your business areas and to identify patterns, trends and, solutions  
  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships with managers
  • Influencing and coaching managers on the full range of HR issues including , performance management; employee engagement; organisational development; talent management; and change management.
  • Providing support and guidance to the HR Assistants in order to aid in their development and breadth of experience.

What you will need to succeed

We are looking for someone who believes in working together as part of a team, who shares our values and who is friendly, and engaging. The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience of managing a varied case load, advising, coaching and supporting managers as required
  • Experience of managing change through restructures, workshops, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills,
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with customers at all levels,
  • A good understanding of internal organisational sensitivities and the wider implications of advice that is provided
  • Experience of writing clear and detailed letters and emails, often as part of formal cases.
  • A strong desire and commitment to providing continuous improvement
  • Resilience and the ability to work under pressure, deliver quality results and manage an often-demanding range of cases
