We’re offering a salary of £29,313 - £38,897 that apply with our terms and conditions covered by the EDF Company Agreement. The starting salary for the appointment will be dependent on your existing salary, competence, experiences and qualification.

What you’ll be doing

Working as our next Health Physics Monitor, your daily roles and responsibilities will include: 

• Carrying out activities to support regulatory compliance primarily with the Ionising Radiations Regulations and Environmental Permitting Regulations. 

The range of activities include, but are not limited to 

• Routine radiation and contamination surveys, radioactive source accountancy, radiation and contamination instrument first line repairs and calibrations, clearance monitoring, environmental monitoring, sampling and analysis of radioactive effluents, solid radioactive waste processing, on-job monitoring for Operations and Maintenance as required.
• You will be required to participate in the nuclear emergency scheme and will receive suitable remuneration for this.
