As the Head of Technology Products within Group Cloud & Infrastructure, we want you to lead your teams in designing, creating, and operating competitive Private Cloud products that match category leaders in the market.

Technology Products combines multiple disciplines (Sales, Marketing, Technology, Finance, etc.) to create desirable, automated self-service platforms that provide a consistent consumption model for technology across territories and public/private clouds. Our goal is to drive a “build once, deploy everywhere” approach to avoid repeated work and promote efficient expenditure across public and private cloud.

What you’ll do:

• Modernize the product portfolio, increasing stability and new features, creating a competitive Private Cloud, secure, with the maturity and scale required by a European leader in Entertainment and Media.
• Achieve a level of excellence in Platform stability, with vital resilience built in, and the proper level of readiness and abilities to respond to incidents.
• Provide senior partner management and represent Technology Products on strategic programmes and projects.
• Increase Customer orientation, establish relationships with business functions across Sky to align on prioritization, planning and delivery.
• Be responsible for the collaboration with Comcast on Private Cloud initiatives and Lead the Tech Products budget, forecasting and challenges
• As a senior member of the team, drive wider people development initiatives in support of our strategy.

What you’ll bring:

• You must have a broad technical knowledge of large scale cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, service orchestration, containers, and experience of integrating systems using APIs.
• You will have previous experience leading successful Platform transformation projects and programmes across multiple business customers, objectives, and technology.
• We want you to show strong Team Management experience to deliver complex solutions in your own team and across others.
• We want you to have an established background establishing successful business links at Head of Level and Director.
• You will have experience in budget management and accountability in the range of £5-£15m p.a.

Osterley:

Our Osterley campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Chiswick Park, Gunnersbury, Acton Town, and Ealing Broadway tube stations. There’s also plenty of parking, bike shelters and showers.

On campus you’ll find six subsidised restaurants and a Waitrose. You can keep in shape at our subsidised gym, catch the latest shows and movies at our cinema, get your car washed and even get pampered at our beauty salon.

Leeds:

Our spacious tech hub is under a mile away from Leeds train station, with free water taxis available from Granary Wharf. There’s also plenty of parking in the surrounding streets and at the nearby CitiPark.

You can also blow off steam over a game of pool or table tennis and stay fit at our subsidised gym.

Livingston Watermark House:

Our lively campus is a free shuttle bus away from Livingston South train station and the town centre. Plus, there’s onsite parking available for cars, motorbikes, and bicycles.

You’ll be well fed at our subsidised canteen, and you can keep in shape at our onsite gym. Or play a game of pool or table tennis.
