Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in media or digital advertising sales.
  • Experience in sales/operations management and developing customers and relationships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience influencing people across functions and collaborating across market teams.
  • Experience managing people and leading and growing teams.
  • Experience developing and maintaining trusted partnerships and comfortable presenting complex solutions to C-level audiences.
  • Knowledge of Google performance marketing product offerings and competitive positioning.
  • Solid analytical capabilities, and comfortable using quantitative analysis to develop insights as basis for recommendation.
  • Excellent communication and relationship development skills.

The Head of Performance role within Client Solutions and Analytics is the link between Google’s Product and Sales organizations. We turn product innovations into client solutions that enable our customers to get the most out of Google’s advertising products and the web. We partner with Sales team members in building the strongest commercial strategy, and we equip customer-facing Googlers with essential product expertise. We are fascinated by all things digital and passionate about shaping the quickly evolving world of online advertising.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Be a business partner to UK Sales and leadership teams to ensure adoption of priority products and solution strategies.
  • Meet with key clients and agencies to advocate and receive feedback on solution narratives.
  • Manage a team of Performance Solutions specialists.
  • Define UK initiatives to grow Google's performance business, collaborating with key stakeholders in country, Dublin and global teams to ensure feedback and buy in.
  • Provide analytical (sales and market) insights, prepare executive country and sector specific leadership plans to address performance challenges and execute them together with Large Customer Sales teams.
