What you’ll do:

• Partner with the senior team – challenging, influencing decision making and driving operational performance across the departments
• Support the development of long-term product development organisational strategy and the creation of an operational model to support the future ambition of the business
• Conduct research and analysis of operational effectiveness, processes, etc. through the use of industry standard tools and techniques
• Assess market trends and competitors to find opportunities for performance improvement
• Using data, present findings, projections and recommended actions to increase awareness, understanding, consensus and support of any operational improvement activities
• Pilot and implement proposed recommendations and new ways of working, whilst gathering regular feedback on further opportunities and findings
• Establish and maintain key performance indicators

What you’ll bring:

• A track record of delivering improvements, change management and operating model design within a large technology department, gained either in a credible consultancy or in an internal consultative role
• Ability to think strategically and hypothesis about the future beyond the existing constraints of the organisation
• Clear and concise communication, someone who can distil complex topics to focused actions and outcomes.
• A highly analytical mind-set with excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience operating in a Software Product Development environment, utilising Agile and Lean principles to design operating models
• Ability to build effective networks with stakeholders, both internally and externally
