New senior level opportunity for a Head of IT Business Partnering Finance.

The IT Business Partner is the senior Technology partner aligning directly to the Finance function and is accountable for the end-to-end technology solutions supporting the function.

In this role you will be tasked with developing and maintaining the Group Finance IT Roadmap, which is aligned to both the Finance and IT strategies and is integrated with the overall Finance portfolio.

The successful applicant will also own service partnerships on behalf of the Finance function, working closely with relevant Service Managers in IT platforms, Infrastructure and Cloud.

In addition, you will be experienced in;

• Establishing consolidated risk focus across end-to-end platforms and applications

• Driving transparent planning, budgeting and performance reporting for the business

• Business partnering to shape and deliver change effectively and efficiently, working in conjunction with Finance, wider IT units and vendors

• Driving and delivering technology innovation

Accountabilities

• Senior representation into Group Finance (and/or Finance units in BU’s) and AII for IT service and change

• Acting as the lead interface and senior technology partner for the business in LT sessions, steercos and other boards

• Working in partnership with the business to develop a rolling 3-year IT strategy aligned to the Finance unit ambitions

• Driving proactive Service management / Operational Stability / Operational Resilience

• Proactive management of IT service and security weaknesses

• Building and maintaining strong and effective relations with the vendors providing service to Finance.

• Support Corporate Functions CIO in the management of critical vendors (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Blackline, etc.)

• Delivery of change

What do I need to know?

• Good knowledge of business, markets and products

• Significant knowledge of Finance and Actuarial processes and supporting technologies

• Extensive leadership experience

• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building, as well as the ability to collaborate and deliver through other teams
