Mortgages are more to us than part of our product range – we know how important buying a home is to our customers and this team are pivotal in developing products that are innovative and meet our customer needs.  As the Head of Homes , you’ll be responsible for a product portfolio serving millions serving millions of LBG customers and developing strategies which deepen relationships with our customers through meeting more of their home owning needs.

What you’ll be doing..

• Owns the development of the Home Eco System for our existing customers.
• Deepen relationships to enable customers to protect their most valuable asset by offering insurance products and other Lloyds Banking Group Products.
• Embed a third party service that allow a ‘one stop shop’ for home ownership needs, for example energy switching, small home improvement, removals etc. Develop propositions for existing customers and lead any third party relationship to deliver compelling sustainability and retro fitting options for the existing customers.
• Ongoing development of the Home Hub that may include but isn’t limited to defining strategies to allow customers to self-serve, for example, balance queries, overpayment, seamlessly switching to new product and take additional borrowing.
• The Home Hub should be underpinned by deep personalisation to ensure a tailored customer experience through using insight from across the Bank.
• Build customer engagement, to ensure Home Hubs’ activity generates optimal value.
• Develop and maintain a good understanding of digital trends and partnership opportunities.
• Craft the strategic direction of the product portfolio and contribute to the key direction of the broader Mortgages business.
• Lead and develop medium term plans specific to the home eco system and customer engagement, taking into account the wider business, commercial, market, regulatory context and customer advocacy.
• Effective risk management and control, creating a culture to facilitate timely identification and management of issues.
• Define and deliver financial objectives.
• Build and maintain an impactful team, developing colleagues through stretching performance objectives, feedback and coaching.

What we’re looking for..

• Detailed knowledge of Mortgages, demonstrating clear understanding of customer, market, conduct, regulatory and competitor trends.
• Visible leader and coach, with proven track record to deliver through others.
• Excellent communications skills, with significant experience engaging and influencing a variety stakeholders internally and externally.
• Influence business decisions, using insightful information to design and deliver customer focussed products which are transparent and easy to use.
• Proactively build an external and internal network for the purpose of commercial awareness.
• Have a drive for continuous improvement and simplification, to improve customer and commercial outcomes.
