Revenue and Margin Assurance saves money for TalkTalk by identifying issues that are causing revenue or cost leakage.  We work with the business to ensure risks are effectively managed, and when we find issues we drive the business to resolve them. 

Your role will be to design and lead the implementation of the strategy for Revenue and Margin Assurance, acting as a trusted business partner for senior stakeholders.  Interfacing with the business, you will be instrumental in driving a stepped change in risk management and process and control improvement at TalkTalk, delivering financial recovery targets, building strong relationships and being the ‘go to’ person for Revenue and Margin Assurance.

The key responsibilities for the role are:

• Lead a team of Direct Reports to identify and deliver annual targeted recoveries, timely supplier payments and provide monthly tracking of financial reporting with associated supporting materials

• Accountable for the implementation of preventative control frameworks to avoid future leakage, safeguarding the organisation’s financial position

• Development, document and share RMA policies, processes and controls throughout the end to end process of detection, investigation, management to monitoring of controls.

• Interpret complex data / information from controls and KPIs to identify areas of risk and issue, working with the business to put corrective processes and actions in place

• Provision of quality assured information to respond to, defend and drive regulatory and commercial claims

• Cultivate a strong understanding of external contractual terms that drive revenue and cost control at TalkTalk

• Collaborate on cross functional regulatory change programmes, risk assessment activities and process & control design, to identify risks and opportunities with recommendations

• Ensure risks from business change (i.e. pricing , product & system projects) are effectively managed, to reduce issues by ‘designing out’ failure

• Work in partnership with business stakeholders to educate, identify & interpreting risks and drive the RMA agenda with clear accountability, balanced with business support

• Provide clear, easily interpreted dashboard representation of control performance
