Key Responsibilities:

• Enable consistency & effectiveness with ongoing improvements in governance committees
• Enhance the standards and practices of governance committees to drive improved decision-making
• Raise the overall quality and consistency of approach to governance and risk and controls environment by Senior Managers, and fostering effective oversight and focus on legal entities through guidance and engagement
• Support Senior Managers in the Functions, Products, Regions and Legal Entities in driving consistent and effective embedding of governance, risk and control environment
• Provide standard committee profiles and taxonomy, define procedures and common templates for committees
• Support management in effective subsidiary board governance
• Define and coordinate implementation of “prompts” to drive behavioral change
• Address challenges between global standardization and local requirements
• Coordinate communications with senior management, boards and regulators

• Drive improvements by capacity building, measurements, assessments and infrastructure
• Drive capability building with targeted governance skills training
• Define success criteria and measurable indicators to assess quality of firm-wide governance
• Supporting the development and implementation of minimum standards and best practices for governance forums throughout Citi Assess what systems infrastructure is necessary to drive effective and efficient reporting
• Disseminate best practices across committees and governance pillars
