What you’ll do:
Overall leadership of Sky’s Fraud Team as well as Senior Management responsibility for team including direct report responsibility for Fraud Leads. You will be tasked with continuing to build, develop and maintain an industry-leading anti-fraud function.
Responsibility for and coordination of team planning and strategic aims for fraud prevention policies, systems, procedures and objectives.
Plan for and lead a continuous assurance programme across areas of responsibility and make recommendations to continuously improve fraud detection and prevention. Gaining Senior Management support for the evolution, development, and implementation for the fraud management strategy.
Ensure that the Fraud function is resourced sufficiently and has the resilience to deliver against objectives in an efficient, effective and highly productive manner, including through recruitment, personal development and department objectives.
Act as the senior Group-wide SME for fraud matters and the provision of support, advice and guidance to internal customers on Fraud practices, risks and associated matters in relation to existing and new products.
Overall responsibility for responding to enquiries from Customer Relations, Finance, Billing, Credit and Collections, Internal Group Security colleagues, Law Enforcement agencies, Industry Forums, and other telecommunications and media companies.
Represent business interests to industry, fraud forums and government and assist in shaping national policy in fraud.
To oversee and/or lead special projects with respect to service improvement and exploring new development and fraud prevention opportunities.
Responsible for aspects of staff selection, recruitment and career development ensuring that the team receives appropriate training on all fraud management systems, customer contact training where required, new technologies, products and services, and other relevant IT applications when required.
Keeping abreast of all changes in statutory legislation and other requirements relating to fraud prevention strategies and conduct reviews to ensure that the fraud management team is adhering to procedures.
What you’ll bring:
High level of knowledge and experience of fraud detection, prevention techniques and future-proofing and strategies for communications service providers, hardware retailers and TV services.
Proven ability to work and communicate effectively with staff at all levels and disciplines, including Executive management and representing the business in Industry and Government, securing involvement and co-operation in executing strategies.
Established and practical experience of working in a multi-channel communications service, retail and/or broadcast environment.
Thorough understanding of the general fraud and risk responsibilities relevant to large corporate bodies, coupled with the ability to identify the key issues and apply them to the wider strategic business framework.
Be able to demonstrate previous ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams in a commercial environment.
Practical experience of introducing and implementing new strategies and projects and ensuring delivery across competing business requirements.
Detailed understanding or knowledge of Sky’s products and services and an awareness of current and possible future business trends and their potential impact on the company.
