Reporting into the CFO, your role will include but not be limited to:

Preparing the accounts and financial statements across several entities and structures whilst supporting the sizeable finance team.

Administering the treasury function and banking covenants

Managing private family investments

Overseeing budgets and forecasting and review of the financial reporting.

Assisting with advice on accounting and investment matters.

Setting up internal controls and procedures to maximise operational excellence.

Partnering with internal stakeholders and participation in strategic decision making working closely with development managers.

Ad hoc accounting work and business process initiatives.

Reporting into a strategic CFO|Inner CBD Location

The successful candidate will be degree and CA/CPA qualified and have held a similar role as a Head of Finance or General Manager of Finance. Those who have worked in a privately owned business and/or have exposure within a family office will be highly regarded. Your technical capabilities across financial accounting and tax will be a given, however the skillset that will set you apart from others will be your ability to manage end to end projects and drive positive change within a team. As a key member of finance leadership team, you will lead by example and support the executive group when making decisions that affect the commercial direction of the company. This role will also include stakeholder management with the operations teams and require someone who has a passion for customer service.
