GreenTech Resources is currently hiring  Head Of Data Engineering (Big Data Analytics) for  our client based in Seattle/San Jose . GreenTech is a Foreign Worker Recruitment Company based in Regina.

The company mainly focuses on women’s wear, but it also offers men’s apparel, children’s clothes, accessories, shoes, bags and other fashion items. Our client mainly targets Europe, America, Australia, and the Middle East along with other consumer markets. The brand was founded in October 2008, and since then it has upheld the philosophy that “”everyone can enjoy the beauty of fashion.”” Its business covers more than 220 countries and regions around the world.

Now they are setting up the the IT technical team in West Coast of US to enhance their capability to support the fast growing business, and they are urgently hiring for the following position:

Head Of Data Engineering (Big Data Analytics)

Roles &Responsibilities

1. Analyze business requirements, build data warehouse and provide support for business departments

2. Participate in data source analysis and complete data docking between big data platform and business systems

3. Complete data warehouse design and ETL development based on the big data technology platform

4. Research related technologies, optimize the Big data development process and plan the application of the big data platform

5. Team building and management

Required Qualifications

More than 5 years of database-related work experience, experience in Internet, e-commerce industry database construction
Proficient in hive SQL writing and optimization, familiar with common ETL tools, at least familiar with one of the following languages: Java, Python, shell, or other
Proficient in data warehouse model design under the background of big data, proficient in OLAP dimension modeling design method
Experience in data platform (data development, governance, assets, etc.)
Strong communication and leadership skills with a sense of responsibility, team spirit; experience in strong leadership and team management
Real-time data development experience in spark streaming, Flink, etc.
Knowledge of statistical mathematics, experience in massive data processing, data analysis, and mining is preferred
Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese”
