Job Description

Role Responsibility

  • Communicating using a variety of methods with our internal colleagues
  • Working closely with the Europe HR Director and Group Communications Director, you will be accountable for the managing regional and local country communications, tailored by audience to ensure maximum engagement.  
  • You will partner with the Europe CEO and leadership team on the development of effective leadership communications and supporting the regional executive team to ensure strong visibility, connectivity and feedback. 
  • Manage complex communication campaigns across numerous markets and languages. Adapt and localise the group communication strategy and develop regional communication solutions in Europe region that support business growth and the development of a stronger unified, performance culture.
  • You will also work closely with the Global Communications Team on group-wide projects and programmes
  • External Communication  
  • Promote, enhance and protect our corporate brand reputation and strategy, through high quality, planned external communications.
  • Provide guidance for all markets regarding the corporate brand; support market-level external communications to maintain and support the local reputation of the business.
  •  Brand stewardship - guardian of Corporate brand Identity throughout the region e.g. Inchcape Brand Guidelines and for new acquisitions, support integration of the Inchcape brand into new business.

The Ideal Candidate

  • An excellent storyteller and communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to advise and influence senior internal partners. 
  • Detailed experience working across different cultures and languages. 
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under pressure, without sacrificing attention to detail. 
  • Collaborative individual who enjoys partnering closely across teams, departments and different countries to build and deliver impactful communications. 
  • Excellent communications and marketing skills – verbal and written, with detailed experience in the creation and editing of integrated communications content. 
  • Fluent in English, other European languages as additional advantage.  
  • Strong organisation and project management skills.  
  • Self-driven, with the ability to work independently. 
  • Experience working with and managing creative agencies.
