As a member of the Commercial Leadership Team (CLT) you will be accountable for the Copper to Fibre Transformation programme in Wholesale Services. You will lead the commercial programme for Wholesale Services to transition our Partners from legacy copper products to full fibre at the optimum time.
You will be required to provide analytical, commercial, regulatory, and technical expertise to support the delivery of this programme.
You will provide the business with realistic proposals, ensuring the commercial risk and impact of exchange closures is understood and fully communicated to all stakeholders.
This role will work directly with our Partners where required.
The TTWS Commercial Team plays a major role in the shaping and structuring of sales opportunities, informing product strategy, maintaining the customer base, and maximising value by using our market, regulatory, product and customer knowledge. We work alongside and support our stakeholders which include Sales, Finance, Product and Operations.
Some of the key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Accountable for the Commercial Outcomes for Wholesale Services of the transition from legacy copper products to next generation fibre Provide Leadership on analytical, commercial, regulatory, and technical subjects to support delivery of the copper to fibre programme.
Analysing and assessing the commercial impact of the exchange closures; providing the business with realistic proposals on the optimum time to close the exchanges Ensuring the risk impact of exchange closures is understood and fully communicated to stakeholders; ensuring this is appropriately managed and planned from a customer perspective to ensure minimum disruption
Delivering and reviewing recommendations supported by data and analysis Ensure stakeholders (internal and external) are appropriately informed of risks and opportunities, presenting data and initiatives with confidence and clarity Collaborate with the Sales Team, Product Team and Service Operations Team to ensure alignment, provide commercial guidance and ensure complex issues are understood, support propositions and evaluate the market
Authority:
1. Commercial decisions within specified Delegation Of Authority Guidelines
2. Submission of rate change requests into Billing department
3. Completion of addendums per terms agreed within own DOAG or at relevant governance forum
4. Security of information: financial, commercial, customer, product, systems
To be successful in this role you will need the following in your skill set:
Must have:
1. Strong analytical and numeracy skills to support solid commercial decision making
2. Ability to present confidently to all levels including financial information to non-financial colleagues
3. Strong commercial acumen.
4. Strong interpersonal skills: influence, negotiation, collaboration, stakeholder management and resilience
5. Demonstrable ownership and attention to detail
6. A good understanding of TT’s products
7. A technical understanding of how our networks operate
8. A good understanding of TTWS’s operating model
9. Proven change agent, able to organise, coordinate and deliver in complex scenarios
10. Eye for detail and strong analytical skills to support solid commercial decision making
