Responsibilities will include:
Maintaining and developing a wide network of contacts within all corners of the Aviation market sector to ensure that the Company is aware of, and understands all relevant activity as described within the 'overall purpose of the role'.
Remaining fully knowledgeable of the sectors news, key players, competitors, innovations, challenges, and general intelligence. This is to be reported and shared effectively within the broader divisional team.
Effectively managing the relationships of existing clients within the sector. This includes the facilitation of strategic client partnership programmes, workshops, and ongoing contract evolution in collaboration with other functions within the division.
Raising awareness of OCS within the sector by way of association membership, event attendance, networking, and development of professional networks. This is to result in a healthy pipeline of opportunities that meet our ideal criteria as per the agreed KPI's.
Supporting the creation of impactful and compelling client propositions that meet company thresholds in terms of governance, commercial, and financial objectives.
Preparing and undertaking a thorough hand-over to divisional and central colleagues as and when CRM, retention, or new business opportunities are converted.
Assisting with the collection, collation and recording of all statistical data relating to the Aviation sector, such as productivity ratings, margins, and costs.
Effectively reporting activities and results via the agreed mechanisms, processes, and protocols
Maintaining a wide network of internal colleague relationships in order that appropriate support can be called upon during projects and tenders.
Experience required:
Education/Qualifications:
IT literate (PowerPoint, Word and Excel),
Formally trained in strategic client relationship techniques.
Aviation sector associated membership would be desirable
Working experience/Personal attributes:
Proven business development / CRM experience from within the Aviation sector.
This experience ideally will be demonstrated by way of proven consistent results and achievements.
Experience must also be demonstrated via a broad, qualified, and proven professional network and membership of appropriate sector specific associations.
Ability to 'listen' and understand client needs
Ability to generate a opportunities from proactive and robust client relationships and networking
Ability to think laterally resulting in innovative and creative options and key features
Highly numerate and computer literate.
Must have the ability to interpret, manage and present information in an innovative manner
Be commercially aware with total commitment to customer service and development.
Good communication, organisational and analytical skills
