We are looking for a Head Host at The Grill. Positive and friendly, you will thrive in a team environment. With your previous Managerial or hosting experience, you will deliver exceptional customer service and be passionate about a career at Harrods. The ideal candidate will have been previously employed at a hotel or high-end restaurant in a similar role.

Principal Accountabilities

• Work with the Restaurant Manager and the management team to ensure the smooth running of the restaurant and day to day service.

• Ensure adherence to all Harrods company policies, controls and standards.

• To be fully aware of the financial performance of your restaurant as well as to provide any necessary reports to support and understand growth of the business

• Create strategies on how to maximise covers and improve Guest Experience.

• Pick up any complaints within required time, recover them, build back guests’ trust and exceed their expectations.

• Ensure that all the necessary processes are carried out when dealing with vouchers and any 3rd party bookings, with Data Champion support ensure that all relevant Restaurant teams are carrying out their daily tasks with full GDPR and Harrods policy awareness

• Carry out any necessary duties to support the opening, closing of restaurants as well as to ensure that your team perform all the necessary opening and closing duties.

• Maximise covers through reservations and walk-ins.

• Ensure due diligence of H&S standards – free of hazards and accidents reported correctly and of minimal occurrence
