Job Description
Expectations (not limited too):
- Willing to travel to their blocks across North London, East London, South London, Essex and Hertfordshire
- It is expected you will be attending on average 12-15 callouts a day and will be required ot pick up jobsheets from central office every morning.
- Must have a UK Driving license
- Basic understanding of Electrics, changing light sockets, plugs, changing lightbulbs etc
- Basic understanding of Plumbing
- Tiling and Laminate floor
- Painting and decorating
- All odd jobs as required.
- Light maintenance and cleaning tasks
Duties Include and are not limited to the following
- Carrying out regular maintenance of properties, Repairing/replacement of damaged items (door handles, light bulbs, locks hinges etc..)
- Painting and decorating
- Fixing roof/leaks
- Tiling and flooring
- Basic plumbing, fixing taps, drainage etc
- Fixing furniture, assembling flat pack
Experience working as a Handyman on behalf of Estate Agents, Social Housing, Housing Associations or Councils is preferred due to the nature of the work however applications will be considered from other backgrounds
Company Van and Fuel Card will be provided which can be used for personal use subject agreeing to working overtime.
Overtime rates: The company pay their current Handymen upto an addional £400 - £600 a month in overtime wages in addition to their salary and weekend work on rota required for emergency.
