Working with the Global Strategy, Programs & Portfolio Performance lead, you will play a meaningful role in the definition and execution of our strategy globally. Salesforce's PE Practice works with our PE Partners to accelerate value creation across their portfolio through digital transformation, using the Salesforce platform, ISVs and ecosystem. In your role, you will support the Strategy Lead and our Global Private Equity Practice Leadership Team in designing and operationalizing the PE go-to-market strategy, lead and support a series of strategic projects, support the execution of the team's operating rhythm, bring a data-driven view of performance, implement our annual planning cycle (Go for Growth) and partner with regional teams to integrate with their regional go-to-market strategies. Act as a thought partner to the Strategy, Programs & Portfolio Performance lead, our leadership team and the Global Head of Private Equity Practice
Co-develop our team’s go-to-market strategy (Global Private Equity Practice GTM) and be responsible for the execution of key elements
Use your expertise in structured problem solving, critical thinking and strong communication to identify new areas of growth while also supporting our core relationship management teams in their day-to-day operations
Develop and implement our annual planning cycle in line with the broader business cadence (Go for Growth)
Lead and support a range of strategic projects that are critical to the success of the team
Own the operational and commercial excellence agenda across the team; acting as a go-to person for data-driven insights, reporting best practice and efficiency
Build your network of internal experts who can be drawn upon to bring the best to our PE partners (e.g. product, marketing, alliances and channels, strategy, finance)
Use our suite of reporting and analytics tools to support and improve the forecasting process
Support the governance of global partnership agreements in collaboration with our global team
Accelerate the onboarding and transition of processes to our extended teams to drive efficiency and scale
Partner closely with our leadership teams in UK/EMEA, USA and Asia to deliver practical insights into their business and drive areas of focus
Succeeding in this role requires:
A solid background in Strategy & Operations, with a depth of experience in the full spectrum from strategy development to hands-on execution
Mastery over problem solving fundamentals such as structured problem solving, hypothesis-based thinking, critical analysis, structured communication and more
Confidence with data - a demonstrable ability to grapple with data, break it down into analysis, synthesise into insights and make recommendations
Confidence in discussing return on investment and business case development
Experience working internationally, either with international clients and/or on international teams
Outstanding communication and influencing skills, as well as a history of operating effectively in multi-disciplinary teams
Strong program and project management skills with the ability to execute across a broad range of contributors including strategy, sales development, marketing and programs
A highly collaborative style with clear evidence of building positive relationships across a diverse set of stakeholders
A track record of delivering measurable results, regularly meeting or exceeding targets
High tolerance for ambiguity; ability to focus in a constantly evolving environment, take charge and make things happen
Someone who is an independent, self-starter with good work ethic and personal drive and character qualities that match with our company’s core values and inspire others to follow and act
An outstanding ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
You will be degree educated with excellent business/professional English communication skills
Top tier consulting firm background, ideally with exposure PE, M&A, strategy or digital transformation or similar industry role (e.g. Sales Strategy, Strategy & Operations, Business Strategy role)
Deep experience in go-to-market strategy and execution
Advanced analytics experience such as SQL and Tableau
