About you:

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, can work independently and loves to sell! If you are a superstar salesperson that is tired of generating thousands in revenue for digital agencies with little in reward then this is the right place for you. 

If you want to make more money through 20% commissions on set-up fees, and 5% on recurring deals you generate then come and put your talents to use at Magnet.

You will need to be an exceptionally self-driven, money motivated individual looking to grow and earn uncapped commissions, helping take the business into the next phase of growth.

Important: 

Only apply to this role if you have at least 18 months experience in a Business Development Executive role and a proven track record of achievement against a target within the agency or digital marketing space. As our Business Development Executive you will be driven, organised, an excellent communicator, and have a successful sales performance within the agency space.

What you will do:

  • Identifying new client prospects: a daily review of campaigns to identify new client accounts.
  • Secure early stage sales meetings with prospects which result in qualified sales opportunities through qualification and discovery;
  • Research and reach out to cold and warm prospects; calling, emailing and social-selling to generate qualified sales meetings;
  • Professionally represent the company at events and trade shows to generate new leads (this includes virtual, local, regional, national, and international events)
  • Pitching and presenting our offers, emphasising excellence with good energy levels.
  • Use data, metrics and KPI's to identify how you can continuously iterate your performance to drive growth;
  • Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help the company expand;
  • Maintain accurate and precise customer contacts, activity, pipeline, and opportunity information within the Salesforce CRM.

What we are looking for:

  • You possess at least 18 months of direct sales B2B experience in a digital agency. Can demonstrate results you achieved in appointments and lead generation. Direct and demonstrable experience working in a quota carrying role at a digital agency, with a proven track record of high achievement;
  • You’re driven to work in a fast-paced and ambitious start-up environment, with the ability to organise and prioritise your work independently, being agile as things change;
  • You have experience managing the initial appointment setting sales process, including sourcing leads, securing appointments and conducting discovery calls;
  • Ability to tie an individual’s wants and needs into a logical solution, understanding how to negotiate;
  • Able to think on your feet, try new approaches and bounce back when things don’t go your way;
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to influence others internally and externally
  • Confidence pitching to in both 1:1 and 1:many situations;
  • Open to feedback and collaboration; always working to improve.
