Grounds and General Maintenance Person Required

Building Service Contractors of NZ (BSCNZ) is the trade association for the NZ Cleaning industry - we represent many employers who require the services of Commercial Cleaners throughout NZ.

You will be employed directly by one of our Members who will provide you with an Employment Agreement, uniform, tools of trade and any required PPE.

The Shift Details:

Shift times will vary based on business requirements.

20-40 hours per week

About the Role:

We are on the search for a motivated and skilled grounds and general maintenance person to join a grounds and maintenance team

Requirements could include;

• Boundary weed spraying and lawn weed control
• Grounds and garden maintenance such as mowing, weed eating, water blasting, hedge trimming, carpark sweeping and landscaping maintenance
• General property repair skills such as installing shelving and dispensers, would be an advantage

Skills and Experience:

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate a passion for quality cleaning work and customer service;

• Self-managing, with the ability to work autonomously
• An ability to be flexible with days and hours in response to property and weather demands
• You will be confident in communicating with our clients and receiving tasks electronically
• Have an eye for detail and able to follow instructions
• You will be able to work in a professional and cooperative manner with all clients, management, and work colleagues
• Fit and active, enjoy working in an outdoor environment.
• Skilled in operating a ride on mower/line trimmer/hedge trimmer and have experience in general property maintenance repairs
• Full manual drivers licence
• Clear MOJ
• Able to pass regular drug testing
