ROLE: Graphic Designer

This is an opportunity to join and shape one of the most successful high street fashion brands in the world today. At Primark, our brand is front and centre in all that we do. We live and breathe it every day. Creatively, we are constantly evolving and pushing boundaries: Primark wouldn’t be Primark if we all did the same thing each day, or on every campaign.

We’re looking for a confident graphic designer to join the creative team. Working alongside the Art Direction team to drive campaigns—you’ll need to capable of taking the grain of an idea and turning it into a fully-rounded, visualised concept. We’re looking for designers who are always hungry: to develop their skills; to learn from and inspire others; and ultimately, to drive the success of the brand. As part of a team of like-minded creatives you’ll play a starring role in how the Primark brand looks and feels across every touch point.

Key Responsibilities

  • Taking a proactive approach on all creative graphic design output for the brand: from window campaigns, to price tickets and anything and everything in between
  • To become a vocal and fundamental part of the Primark Brand Team as we enter new and constantly evolving creative times
  • Protect, nurture, develop and evolve the Primark brand

Skills/Knowledge/Experience

  • A minimum of five years’ relevant experience
  • Highly fluent in Adobe Creative Suite: particularly InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator (motion design skills would be a bonus)
  • Excellent conceptual, visualisation and illustration skills
  • An expert typographic eye
  • A love for fashion and beautiful photography
  • A willingness and desire to creatively push and challenge the status quo
  • A cultural sponge: able to absorb the best of what’s happening creatively in the world, and be inspired by that to bring bold new ideas to the table
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
  • Equally capable designing for print and digital
  • An ability to see the bigger picture and ensure good consistency throughout all creative materials Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and meeting strict deadlines
  • The ability to confidently convey your ideas to others
  • A deep love and understanding of the Primark brand
