CentralOtago District Council has a unique opportunity for a Graduate Water ServicesAnalyst with a scientific, engineering or planning background to assist withsetting the direction for water services management within Council as it movestowards new service delivery arrangements.
In thisrole you will assist with the development, review and updating of key documentsincluding Water Safety Plans, Activity Management Plans and other key plans to ensureour three waters networks meet the needs of the community now, and in thefuture.
You will beworking alongside a small team of engineers and planners who will work with youto develop your skills and experience and provide opportunities within the newservice delivery organisation.
Experience of working in the water sector ispreferable but not essential. You will also have good communication skills, be willingto take ownership of issues and solutions, and be confident of working withminimal supervision.
