Support Key Programmes. Work on Operational projects and Deliverables. Join our Governance and Admin Team and support Sky’s Field Operations who are responsible for Sky’s 6 UK Data Centres across our whole estate.
As a part of the Governance and Administration team you will help to continually evolve the tools, processes and procedures required to support our Field Operations and Physical Infrastructure Directorate. As an apprentice on programme, you will be a confident, strong communicator with a passion for continual process improvement.
You will work alongside the team to cover a wide range of administrative tasks with a data focus including financial tracking and reporting, reporting, coordination of timesheets through our Clarity system as well as working on internal projects, health and safety initiatives and continuous improvement projects. This is a truly operational role within a great team with the ability to work on tasks which span not only Sky UK, but also other territories whilst also earning a Business and Data Qualification.
What you’ll be doing
As part of our Governance and Administration team you will undertake the following activities:
Financial Tracking / Reporting
Budget management
Audit & Security requirements
Health & Safety initiatives
Continual Process Improvement
Reporting & KPI
Raising and Tracking of Procurement orders
Co-ordination of Clarity Timesheets
General Project Co-ordination
General departmental admin
Internal Project delivery, often cross Company / cross Territory.

What we’re looking for
You’ll need a minimum of two GCSEs A* – C (or equivalent grades 9-4) if you’re applying for a role in England.
In addition, as part of the apprenticeship you will be required to evidence if you already have achieved Core skills (minimum of two GCSEs A* – C/ 9-4 grades, or equivalent, in English and Maths) through school or further education then you would not be required to repeat these. If you haven’t achieved them or cannot provide evidence then you will be required to achieve them as part of the programme.

Our application process
First, complete our short application form by entering your details and academic information. Once your application has been submitted, you’ll be invited to complete our immersive digital assessments. This may land in your junk folder so don’t forget to check it. Complete the assessments successfully and you’ll be considered for our assessment centre.
The first digital assessment looks at your behavioural and cognitive strengths through several questions.
In the second (and last) digital assessment, you will be required to review various sets of information and be asked questions related to this. Part of this stage will include a recorded video interview. But don’t worry there will be practice round.
For the final stage of your application, we’ll invite you to a digital assessment centre and give you some tasks to get to know you better. The day will give you a practical insight into the role and will assess your technical aptitude.
Once you’ve completed your assessment day, we’ll let you know when you can expect to hear back from us.
