CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Global FP&A Reporting Manager to join the team located in London. The successful candidate will support the design, build and delivery of a globally consistent and efficient reporting package across the GWS Client’s Global account. Deliver world class planning and reporting solutions which facilitate analysis and decision making on the Global Account and within the CBRE Division.
Role Summary:
Planning and Forecasting
- Manage through the Global finance teams, Anaplan, TM1 Planning and other local forecast models ensuring accuracy of the YTD actual, PY, Client budget and Plan data held within the models for comparative purposes
- Liaise with key divisional and senior Account stakeholders to scope the requirements of the tools and work closely with them throughout the plan and forecast cycles to ensure their requirements are met
- Ensure outputs from the model meet Global FD, divisional, operational & US Corporate requirements
- Capturing reporting requirements from key stakeholders and developing a plan for delivery
- Identify training needs across the business and work with the Regional FDs deliver appropriate training sessions and materials
- Communicate Reporting deadlines and ownership clearly and keep users informed of any changes to these
- Manage change control process and finalisation of Divisional numbers
- Oversee the export of plan data from Anaplan to TM1/PeopleSoft (CBRE corporate reporting tools) and perform reconciliation between the two
- Work within wider GLOBAL reporting timelines to ensure all deadlines are achieved
Client Responsibilities
- Support Global Ops and Regional FDs to respond to ad-hoc queries from Client senior management / GWS Corporate
- Support annual refresh of the 5 Year account’s Plan
- Support annual refresh of the CBRE Plan
Data Hub & Monthly reporting
- Ownership and oversight of all output from the Anaplan Data Hub, TM1 Planning (the central repository and account-based tool for finance information)
- Ensure management accounts schedules can be efficiently produced from the Data Hub
- Establish a best practice control environment around data held within model and user access and security, ensuring Hub represents one version of the truth
- Work with key stakeholders to manage the development of the Power BI front-end reporting solution and drive move to a self-service reporting approach across divisions
- Support the delivery of standardised daily reports to Account Global FD, and key finance stakeholders throughout the month end close
Finance Team leadership
- Encourage knowledge-sharing across business divisions – challenge legacy “silo†mentality and build resilience in the Global team by sharing knowledge and best practice across business units
Experience Required:
- Qualified accountant
- Batchelor’s Degree 2:1 or higher
- Strong systems capability and understanding of the logic associated with multi-dimensional reporting tools
- Strong communication skills enabling the individual to work with senior leadership (EMEA and Business Group / Divisional Finance Directors, Controllers, General Managers and Functional Leads), Corporate (Controllers in L.A., Dallas, and Milwaukee), Shared Service Centre contacts and Operational/Account Leaders
- Strong attention to detail and methodical in approach
- Strong modelling skills and experience of building and developing budget and forecast models in complex modelling software
- Strong Excel skills required
- Proven experience of analysing large data sets, identifying key trends, and communicating findings to senior management in a concise and understandable manner
- Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role in a complex multi-national.
- Proven track record of reporting with and developing TM1 / HFM / Peoplesoft / Anaplan or similar software
- Proven track record of building complex forecast models and co-ordinating budgets/ forecasts across multiple countries, culture, and business units
- Experience of leading/ working on financial aspects of strategic plan/ budget/ business case
- Examples of working with finance staff across different countries/ cultures
- Preparation of large-scale models / business plans
- Evidence of working successfully with cross-functional teams
- Experience utilizing combination of ERP/ BI and excel and tools such as Tableau and Anaplan
- Experience in building and maintaining strong network both inside and outside the finance community
- Preparation and development of reports and presentations to Board level stakeholders
