We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer / Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join us in Christchurch and be part of a thriving and growing Geotechnical team. T+T are involved in some of the Region's largest projects and alongside this we have an exciting schedule of work involving multi-disciplinary engineering projects across the country.

The work is technically challenging and varied with lots of interesting projects for you to sink your teeth into, including earthquake engineering, soil structure interaction, slope stability and foundation engineering. We have various pathways open and scope for you to develop.

The role:

  • Designing all forms of geotechnical structures
  • Manage, design and implement geotechnical projects
  • Project Management
  • Client relationship management
  • Supervision and mentoring of junior staff

About you:

  • BE(hons) Civil Engineering or equivalent Washington Accord accredited degree
  • Actively working towards CPEng or already have it under your belt
  • 8+ years industry experience in geotechnical engineering
  • Previous experience in a consulting environment
  • Strong foundation design and /or ground improvement works experience
  • Solid experience in retaining structures design and slope stability assessment
  • Strong report writing capability
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
