Events South Australia is responsible for the creation, development and procurement of nationally and internationally recognised events, to promote South Australia as a tourism destination. Events South Australia, through the South Australian Tourism Commission, owns and manages four events including: Santos Tour Down Under, Tasting Australia Presented by RAA Travel, Bridgestone World Solar Challenge and the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant.

Reporting to the Executive Director, Events South Australia, the General Manager, Commercial Sales is responsible for the generation of income and activity through sponsorship, partnerships and hospitality, in order to grow the Events (as outlined above) and create social and economic benefits for South Australia. This role is responsible for managing the Commercial Sales team role is responsible for managing the Commercial Sales team and will be a member of the Events South Australia management team, leading the group.

The role will be offered as a three (3) year contract and subject to six (6) months’ probation and participation in regular performance reviews.
