About this role:
Fund finance group provides fund-level financing to private equity funds and other asset managers through structured credit facilities. Fund Finance resides within Financial Institutions Group, which is part of Wells Fargo Corporate & Investment Banking.
In this role, you will:
Prospective team members will focus on supporting Wells Fargo’s leading position in the fund financing space, working as part of three person deal teams to originate, underwrite and manage deals. Core responsibilities will include: preparation of detailed credit memorandums and financial models in support of fund-level credit facilities, analysis of fund investors, reviewing fund documentation and liaising with internal and external stakeholders during the deal closing process. Training will be provided for each of these skills to ensure quick development and a high level of competency in each area. Additionally, the candidate will work with other lines of business (e.g. Foreign Exchange, International Trade Finance) to ensure comprehensive institutional client coverage.

Required Qualifications, International:
Market Skills and Certifications :
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree
• Experience (or long-term internship) at an investment bank, asset manager or another reputable financial services firm.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong sense of personal accountability.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to work as a team player in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, including ability to coordinate multiple work streams and deliver against tight timelines.
• Demonstrated experience in analyzing financial statements.
• Experience in using Excel to analyze and clearly present data.
• Proficient use of Word and PowerPoint.
• Self-starter with a willingness to work long hours where required, and a strong problem-solving mindset.
Preferred
• Some financial services industry experience.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Physics, Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in private equity, structured finance, asset management, credit or capital markets.
• Ability to interact with clients in a confident and professional manner.
• Experience in credit underwriting.
• Fluency in an additional language is a plus
