We have a fantastic opportunity for a Patient Care Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team here at Twyford Veterinary Clinic!

This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week.

This role will involve animal handling, assisting vets and nurses in restraining animals for treatment, cleaning, walking and feeding patients, general cleaning and maintenance duties, answering phone calls, reception cover, greeting clients and providing the highest standards of animal and customer care.

We are looking for someone who really cares about animals. Our ideal candidate will have had some experience with animals before, have excellent interpersonal skills and be a real team player.

Student Veterinary Nurse Training is available in January 2022 for any student nurses interested in starting training; to be eligible for the training you must have the following:

• Five GCSEs at grade C and above (or equivalent), which must include English language, maths and a science subject.

OR

• -An animal nursing assistant (ANA) or veterinary care assistant (VCA) qualification, along with functional skills level two in application of number and communication.
