Team Product Owner

Salary & Benefits: £52,912 - £69,447 annual base salary, plus annual personal bonus, up to 15% employer pension contribution, 4% flexible cash pot, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays. An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Channels Enabling Platform where the Identity & Authentication Lab is managing the Authentication as a Service platform developed to meet our Strong Customer Authentication commitments. In this role you'll be working with high impact innovative technology that is not just the bank of the future, but industry trailblazing.

The Identity & Authentication Platform is the front door to the bank; whether the customer is logging on, making a payment or shopping online, this platform and the colleagues running it will ensure a positive customer experience providing assurance that their money is safe, whilst also offering balanced security keeping fraudsters out. The Lab is a true enabler of a wide variety of Channel needs and this role is at the forefront of an exciting period for the Lab.

The Team Product Owner (Team PO) is responsible for the delivery & evolution of a particular series of products & services. Stimulates innovation by continuously prioritising customer needs, driving delivery of value for the bank and customers.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Product Owner experienced in using Agile/Scrum methodologies, driving forward a clear product vision, shape and run- with product backlogs with a focus on achieving agreed outcomes and deliverables.
• Ability to use data and insights to build a product vision, define product features and continually iterate your product to achieve optimal customer outcomes.
• Experience of financial planning and cost control: a track record of delivering within budget and using resources efficiently
• Appreciation of the technical landscape, ability to support the shaping of solutions with the ability to articulate this in a language that is reflective of the audience.
• Ability to quickly understand complex technical concepts and translate them into non-technical language.
• Ability to influence and build relationships, creating an environment in which people bring out the best in themselves by providing autonomy and ensuring they feel safe to experiment.

Desirable skills & experience

• Background working within Identity & Authentication as a Service platform for Customer Authentication commitments
• Experience working with Digital / Online Banking Platform
