Job Description
The Senior Data Quality Analyst will be expected to work on complex data quality analysis and reporting delivery work with minimal management supervision. They will be capable of managing stakeholder relationships across multiple cross functional teams, communicating progress and updates, and understand how to navigate the TalkTalk organisation. They will be able to relate complex data quality issues to business impacts and risks, and engage to educate stakeholders on how to deal with.
- Work with our business to understand their data quality challenges and then formulate solutions that facilitate proactive monitoring and treatment of data quality issues
- Where data quality reporting / solutions required to resolve a business data quality problem, shape and propose the solution, work with business and Tech teams to prioritise the delivery roadmap. Mobilise and lead the delivery.
- Lead and direct offshore teams in delivering solutions that measure and provide perspective on business problems that manifest themselves into data quality issues
- Document processes and solutions that reflect current and proposed activities to a standard that can be understood by both business and technical audiences
- Promote the awareness of data quality across the business by highlighting the benefits of improving the quality of data and the risks of not responding to data issues
- Apply your expertise in data mining, problem solving, quantitative and qualitative research and the presentation of data to enable accurate data insight to ensure the Business are making sound decisions on trusted data
- Set performance targets, and monitor progress against agreed quality and performance criteria. Provide effective feedback, throughout the performance management cycle, to ensure optimum performance.
- Complete data quality impact assessments on new projects and BAU activities
- Educate and support the Business in defining data quality Business rules and KPI targets
- Promote the Data Governance framework across the group
- Using your expertise, knowledge and experience to provide to support and mentor other Data Quality Team Members
- Act as an advocate for better quality data, engaging key stakeholders to drive an understanding of the value of good quality data, apply previous experience and expertise in data management
- Work closely with the Data Owners/Stewards across the group to improve the quality and value of data
