JOB INTRODUCTION:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Finance Team in Worksop as a Management Accountant in our General Ledger Team.   If you are a qualified or experienced accountant with a business background then this could be your ideal next role.

The successful candidate will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes. These documents may include your passport, drivers license, utility bill (dated in the last 3 months), HMRC letter, an original bank statement, an original payslip, your birth certificate, a valid share code.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITY:

The main responsibilities and accountabilities of a Management Accountant include:

• Managing and producing monthly SGA accounts
• Production of forecast and budgets
• Group reporting - Input and reconciliation. Ensuring information in the reporting systems is accurate and timely while providing appropriate clarity in explaining balances or trends
• Support the business with accurate MI and financial analysis
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and reviews for completeness and supporting documentation.
• Ensure standard operating procedures are adequate and updated regularly
• Manage profit and loss payroll reconciliation process
• Portfolio Analysis
• Accrued revenue review and debt recovery assistance where required
• On the ground support for internal and external audits
• Provide information to support Statutory Accounts process
• Support management in the MEC/MFC process
• Ad Hoc reporting support
• Ensure information in reporting systems is accurate and timely while providing appropriate clarity in explaining balances or trends
• Management of Company Credit Cards and multisite process
• Work to drive efficiencies and improvement plans

The ideal candidate for the Management Accountant role will have the following skills and qualifications:

• Qualified or QBE - Experienced accountant who has a substantial business background.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to win the respect and trust of colleagues and customers
• Systems literacy: ability to harness IT systems to provide and improve MI
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure
