An opportunity for a skilled Finance Analyst to join our RCA Finance team, where you will focus on providing critical & value add judgment to support operational reporting, accounting & be business unit (BU) centred.

The RCA team's remit is to be capability orientated to deliver business partnering & achieving effective value add decision making, to be readily & easily understood by the customer & adaptable for ongoing continuous improvement.  This includes preparation, meaningful analysis, intrinsic understanding & presentation of reports and KPIs reflecting earnings, profits & other financial results that enable business stakeholders to make fully informed decisions on performance improvement.

As the Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Weekly and monthly Profit & Loss and associated review, discussion & reporting commentary with BU Managers
  • Preparation and review monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations & lead resolution on reconciliations
  • Preparation & support of budget/forecast process in close consultation with Managers & stakeholders
  • Input into Corporate Reporting & coordinating with team members for accurate completion
  • Active involvement in business performance management reporting including recommendations & implementation of continuous process improvement & assessment
  • Aiding & assisting general finance / accounting / systems and associated analysis & business decision support

Qualifications

 To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum of 5 years management or financial accounting experience
  • Comprehensive finance reporting & operational metrics experience
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving capability & aptitude
  • Mature & adaptable outlook able to proactively embrace change & improvement
  • Strong communication & relationships skills including ability to develop strong business partnering
  • Exhibit a high level of accuracy & attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS suite of applications (Excel and others), finance reporting & mainstream ERP systems
  • CPA/CA/CIMA qualification or part qualification
