Purpose-led work you’ll be part of
As an EPM OneStream Manager you will advise clients on optimizing their consolidation, planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes. You will help design and implement performance measurements tools in Onestream as well as potentially: Anaplan, Oracle EPM or SAP EPM. If you have deep Oracle EPM experience this would be beneficial for you to learn OneStream.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work on challenging and rewarding engagements with multidisciplinary teams
Conduct organizational diagnostics on financial processes
Define business requirements for the acquisition and application configuration (EPM)
Conduct analyses in support of process performance measurement and improvement initiatives (e.g. costing, cost-benefit, benchmarking)
Establish credibility with existing and new clients by demonstrating subject matter expertise and knowledge in finance
Vendor and software selection (including business requirements gathering)
Lead or participate in organizational diagnostics on financial processes, financial consolidation, planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and dashboard
Actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities
Support the engagement director / partner in managing engagement risk and project economics
Participate in aspects of the proposal development and proposal writing
Support the development of "thought leadership" and "point-of-view" documents
Coach others, recognise their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve
Experienced working in an Agile project management environment for tool implementation projects
Significant years of experience in a professional services environment (a combination of industry, management consulting and/or software implementation)
Hands on experience designing, building and testing Oracle EPM and/or OneStream applications for all of the following areas (experience with Anaplan, or SAP EPM are a plus)
Multi dimensional data models (dimensions, hierarchies, attributes…)
Input template and report build
Data Integration and Extract Transform and Load (ETL) concepts
Understanding of calcs (allocation, top-down spreading, currencies)
Workflow, data permissions and Security
Working expertise or understanding in many, if not all, of the core Accounting areas:
Performance Management - executive dashboards management reporting, planning, budgeting & forecasting, analytics & decision support
Record-to-Report – financial close, consolidation, financial reporting, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Payroll
Order-to-Cash – order entry, customer credit, invoicing, accounts receivable, collections,
Procure-to-Pay – procurement, accounts payable, invoicing
Experience in process improvement or re-engineering initiatives and projects in the core back office accounting and/or FP&A areas as either a consultant or internal role
High level of client service orientation such as building solid relationships with clients; approaching clients in an organized manner, demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks
A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
MBA and/or a CPA designation is an asset
Certification for one of the leading EPM applications is a plus
