Job Description:

  • Design, test, test and update electronic systems, components, equipment and software.
  • Liaise with engineers, other professionals and customers to ensure quality projects are completed to specification.
  • Ensure that all equipment and products comply with health and safety regulations. Observe existing processes and make suggestions for improvement.
  • Establish effective maintenance, testing, and quality control procedures. Show initiative and keep abreast of advancements in the field of electronics.
  • Represent the company at conferences and give presentations as needed. Monitor processes, systems, and personnel and identify issues over time. Establish relationships with employees, suppliers, vendors, and other professionals in the field.
  • Write specifications, instructions, reports, and perform other required administrative tasks.
  • Develop manufacturing processes in line with global technical standards and regulations
  • Manage engineering projects and deliver them on time
  • Identify customer needs and requirements
  • Ensure installation and application applications that meet customer needs and security standards
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and implement new process systems
  • Perform quality and performance analysis on machine systems new and old
  • Summarize data and report test results
  • Review new equipment needs, calculate costs, and help prepare budgets
  • Monitor maintenance and inspection plans

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • An appropriate license may be required.
  • Hands-on experience with design software.
  • Recommended design experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good written, verbal and telephone communication skills.
  • Excellent research and personal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Willing to work overtime if necessary.
  • Proven expertise as an electrical engineer
  • Hands-on experience using design and calculation software
  • In-depth knowledge of power generation processes
  • Understanding of electrical engineering principles and safety standards
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Details of care
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Degree in electrical engineering; MSc is a plus
