About you 

You are a commercially astute, strategic and collaborative leader, who is highly skilled at engaging and influencing multiple stakeholder groups. 

Technically proficient in the Risk Management environment, you will have extensive demonstrated experience in leading a contemporary, strategic and integrated approach to risk management and/or assurance functions within a large and complex organisation.    

Your leadership, development, implementation and management skills should be self-evident in the evaluation, integration and reporting of risk management activities, enterprise wide. 

As a strong engaging people leader you will have the natural ability to motivate, develop and lead teams. Creating a shared purpose of achieving high quality outcomes.      

Exceptional problem-solving skills and experience will be expected in order to provide appropriate solutions. 

Risk Management experience gained from relevant consulting firms will also be considered. 

Possessing a minimum of 5 to 10 years leadership experience within risk management, the Director, Risk & Assurance provides a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in contributing to the creation of an ever-lasting legacy for our state.
