Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the associated Change policies and procedures, ensuring that all types of Change made to the technology infrastructure are appropriately controlled, governed and successfully implemented in order to facilitate positive change, while minimising any negative impact and avoiding operational disruption to the business.

Provide administrative activities to ensure that all work carried out is fully assessed, considering all aspects of the Change, including back out and validation plans, risk and impact assessments and appropriate communications are in place.

Provide support activities in weekly Change Advisory Board (CAB) to help assess in detail all high risk and impact Changes, and any new Services being brought into the Production environment in order to ensure that the correct approach is being taken.

Adhere to corporate compliance framework and input into the unsuccessful Change process with the goal to drive down all failed Changes and, should any occur, help identify improvements to ensure these are not repeated.

Promote a positive Change culture with a long-term view of key business activities and peak trading periods, ensuring plans are in place to maintain operational stability.

Adhere to and champion the Change Management processes, by continuous review of Change Management processes to remove waste and drive agile ways of working, providing support for transformation Change activities and demonstrating effective people engagement.

 

About You

Experience of working within Change Management or a governance process sector with a good understanding of audit and compliance.

Strong process management skills, with excellent organisational, planning and prioritising skills and a strong attention to detail.

Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, engaging in stakeholder relationships within the business, 3rd parties and wider technology teams.

Confident to comfortably challenge, confront and solve difficult situations whilst maintaining solid internal and external connections.

Achieve results through inspiring and motivating your team colleagues to take action and deliver against the Change strategy.

Supporting a fast paced, dynamic business with broad external industry knowledge with a view to driving innovation within Asda.

Working within a team to improve performance and drive process efficiencies.

Preferably with working knowledge of relevant industry standard methodologies and tooling, such as the ITIL framework and ServiceNow.
