Are you an experienced assistant accountant seeking a new position? With this public sector organisation you will be able to develop your skills further in an essential New Zealand business.

You will be expected to monitor and review the day to day work flow in addition to:

• Review accounts receivable invoice and accounts payable batches
• Maintain fixed assets register
• Processing daily bank reconciliations
• Assist in training of new employees
• Prepare month end journals
•  to the Accountant

The ideal candidate will be an experienced assistant accountant looking to step into their next role and experience a new environment! You will bring:

• Strong excel skills
• Strong communication skills
• Previous experience in fixed assets and month end journals and processes
• A team focused attitude
