About the Role

We are looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer with professional experience and a good understanding of the React eco-system, Java and Spring Boot framework. You will be mainly responsible for building and maintaining critical internal applications built on AWS cloud to enable our teams to develop the next generation of product modules and features that define cutting edge innovation. You will also get an opportunity to work with our Frontend engineers on our enterprise web application.

This is a remote role, where you will work collaboratively with a team of world class engineers, data scientists and industry insights analysts to understand what they need to get their jobs done. Requirements

• At least 2+ years of production grade frontend engineering experience using React
• At least 2+ years of professional engineering experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with JPA and SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks.
• Have experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Empathy for customers, teammates, and other stakeholders
• Excellent team player with effective communication skills who is able to listen intently and understand the needs of the business, can convert these into clear and easily understood specifications and are able to present this across teams

It'll be advantageous to have:

• Experience with Angular framework
• Experience working with one or more of Dynamo DB, ElasticSearch and/or Redis.
• Previous experience with migrating Angular web applications to React
• Quality focused with unit and E2E testing experience using tools such as Jest, Cypress, and Nightwatch
• Good understanding of consuming REST APIs with asynchronous request handling, partial page updates.
• Experience working with AWS technologies such as CloudFront, Elastic Container Service (ECS), S3, EC2, CloudWatch as well as Kubernetes/Docker.
