Job Description

Azure IoT Security is a new group at Microsoft responsible for building advanced security solutions to protect IoT & OT devices at global scale on top of Azure.

This group is built from a combination of cloud and security experts with a recent acquisition of CyberX (IoT & OT security startup).

The product combines cutting edge cloud technology with security understanding and fast-growing market of IoT, monitors and protects millions of devices in IoT & industrial networks around the globe, and is part of Azure security services for IoT.

We are looking for passionate and experienced software engineer that will be designing and coding a cutting edge systems, mainly working with Section 52, the IoT Security research group.

 

Responsibilities

- Develop systems to amplify research productiveness

- Work on new technologies and research PoCs

- Grow projects from PoC to production

- End to end development from planning to production

- Solve tough engineering problems that require thinking out of the box

- Integrate with multiple services across Azure

- Work with large amounts of data on SQL and NoSQL databases

- Collaborate with peer teams in Israel and US

Qualifications

- 4+ years of experience in commercial OOD software development experience using C#/Java/ Python

- Experience in front end development React/VueJS/Angular

- Experience with developing cloud services and applications on Azure, AWS or equivalent

- Experience with working on cloud databases such as SQL, NoSQL, map-reduce, etc.

- BSc degree or higher in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent

- Team player skills, effectiveness both in independent and collaborative work.

- Ability to learn and use new technologies.

- Ability to understand complex distributed systems and troubleshoot them.

- Ability to think out of the box  to derive creative and innovative solutions.

- Strong problem solving and debugging skills.
