The role will also involve collaborating with colleagues on the technology choices required to deliver the functional and non-functional requirements necessary for a retail CBDC, and developing a deep understanding and of a (range of) potential architectural model(s) for CBDC, and its underlying design features.
You will also contribute to the Bank’s wider work on CBDC, including working collaboratively with the wider CBDC project, inputting into international collaborations, wider external engagement, our assessment of the technical requirements for CBDC, and working collaboratively with colleagues across the Bank on technology matters.
Essential
Given that the roles will be working on a wide range of experiments across a number of potential collaborators and technology stacks, we are looking for adaptable technologists, able to learn new technologies to tackle specific challenging problems and demonstrate your experiments to the technology team and the wider Bank.
