A fantastic opportunity is available for a Software Engineer to join one of our Agile delivery teams building solutions used by thousands  of colleagues and customers daily.

You'll need to have hands on Full Stack experience  ideally with experience in a mobile environment and be driven to solve technical challenges with innovative solutions.

YOUR ROLE

As our Full Stack Engineer, you will actively participate in the design of applications working with Product Owners, Systems Analysts and Architects and you will translate requirements into high quality applications for use by our colleagues and customers. You will work as a member of an agile delivery squad using techniques such as pair and mob programming and you will share your knowledge and experience not only with the squad but also with the communities of practice. You will own development changes for a roadmap project yourself or contribute as part of a delivery team and you will show a willingness to learn new technologies/programming languages and develop non-technical skills

ABOUT YOU

• Demonstratable experience of development using JavaScript / TypeScript and at least one Front End Framework (React, Redux and React Native are a plus)
• Experience of Back End service development using JavaScript / TypeScript / Java / C#
• Experience in Design, Build and Operation of Cloud based Microservices, Containerisation and Serverless
• Experience of working in a multi-skilled Agile delivery environment with Analysts, Testers and Support Teams and experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Awareness of Test-first, Secure by design and OWASP
• Experience in relational / non-relational databases.
• DevOps experience a plus, including CI/CD, monitoring and alerting
