About this role

As a Full Fibre Senior Area Manager, you’ll have a critical role ensuring the successful Provision of Full Fibre services across a region, leading a team of up to 500 field engineers. 

You’ll be carrying accountability for assuring that customer & business outcomes are delivered, and the P&L is delivered. 

You’ll be ensuring a zero-accident safety culture and will be championing, driving, and delivering strategic and tactical change across the area.

This is a Full Fibre field role that will cover North East of England.

You'll have the following responsibilities

• Responsible for delivery of repair service metrics for all Full Fibre products across your area, this will include resourcing decisions and managing major service outages.

• Own the overall delivery of all end-to-end customer outcomes and high-quality services, delivering to time, cost and quality in your area through Direct Labour and our (3rd party) partners.

• Mange a P&L, capex, bottom line profitability & all strategic delivery across your area.  

• Manage the overall governance of quality & safety and the delivery of our regulatory obligations, informing future thinking in relation to risks and opportunities at an area level, translating these into actionable plans. 

• Executing the operational plan in line with key performance metrics to enable revenue, regulatory and service delivery to the required level for all patch Operational teams in your area.

• Building successful strategic relationships with key suppliers, regional authorities, political representatives, planning authorities and commercial property developers in your area ensuring excellent customer experience and delivering required business outcomes in your area.

• Develop collaborative working relationships with all partners and peers to remove barriers, enabling smarter working and support across area / patch deliverables.

• Be a role model to promote a safety culture with zero harm, whilst devolving responsibility and empowerment of safety down to Manager and team member level.

You'll have the following skills & experience

• Experience of actively managing a P&L to successful outcome

• Experience of translating strategic plans into an understandable list of tangible actions 

• Proven experience managing successful operational teams and ability to manage operational risk

• Significant stakeholder management experience

• Renowned for creating sustainable performance through personal leadership and the ability to build brilliant teams

• Team player, adept at holding others to account through a challenging and supportive leadership style, whilst consistently delivering on their own commitments
