About the opportunity:

Our client is an established company with a purpose-built factory, modern machinery and tools, ISO accreditation, and great team culture. They are looking for a Fitter / Turner to join their team. If you are a reliable and hardworking individual, you will definitely be a good fit to the team!

Responsibilities will include:

• One-off short-run and prototyping work
• Second operation work from CNCs
• Manual machining/turning
• Some arc welding and general fitting
• Ensure health and safety standards are followed at all times

This role will suit someone with the following background / experience / qualities:

• Qualified Fitter / Turner
• Proven experience working with conventional factory machines (lathe, cutoff saw, etc.)
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings competently
• Excellent communication skills and effective time management
• Great attitude and the ability to problem solve
• Good level of physical fitness as lifting will be required
