Robert Half is hiring now for Junior, Intermediate and Senior Firmware Engineers for our Edmonton Client. As the successful Candidate you will work with team members in the Firmware and Electronics unit and may be involved with different phases of product development including design, architecture, manufacturing and production. You have strong technical, logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills and display superb C coding knowledge and STM32 platform experience. This position is located in the Edmonton, AB. but is open to fully remote work concessions for eligible candidates.

Requirements

MUST HAVES:

• Experience in a similar Engineering role with a proven track record of how you’ve contributed to the success and growth of your role along with considerable hands-on experience in C coding
• Solid working experience with STM32 platform
• Proficient Electrical Hardware knowledge and working experience
• Working expertise to develop software including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases
• Knowledge and ability to interpret policies and follow best practices and established guidelines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to establish and     maintain effective working relationships
• Motor control experience and knowledge of debugging with real time controllers is preferred
• Experience with embedded systems, IAR complier and Microsoft Dev Ops is an asset
• Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent
