What you’ll create and do
As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support the financial services strategy and transformation programs, focused on retail banking and channels (digital and contact centre focus)
Gathering and analysing client information and develop data-driven insights to support the development of platform and channel business and technology strategies
Understand the client’s business and technology strategy and operations through research, interviews, formulating and testing hypotheses
Knowledge and experience of agile product and platform ceremonies, tolling and development
Work directly with clients to support agile development activities in the role of business analyst or product owner
Gather and prioritize business and or technology requirements and build process flows
Knowledge of program and project management process, tools and ceremonies
Deliver client projects on time and within budget, utilizing tested Project Management methods, exceeding client expectations through outstanding team performance and stakeholder management
Work directly with clients to integrate People, Process and Technology (Data) components into meaningful, value added solutions
Build and maintain effective, trusting and collaborative client relationships at multiple levels
Collaborate with team members at various levels to lead and develop compelling client proposals, white paper, thought leadership and point of view, describing the business challenge and proposed business and technology solutions, scope, risks and dependencies
Contribute to building a strong and sustainable PwC culture through effective employee engagement, mentoring and coaching team members through timely, meaningful verbal and written feedback
What you’ll bring to this role
An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard
Significant experience within Technology management, and / or strategy
Prior work experience with a Financial Services firm or an internal consulting group
Strong understanding of one or more business domains within Retail or Commercial banking
Hands on experience with technology domains including and not limited to Cloud migration - application / data, Automation, Data strategy, etc.
A proven track record of successful project completion and a demonstrated ability to manage client communications and expectations
Exceptional business acumen and business analysis skills
Proactive and logical approach to information gathering with an ability to synthesize complex ideas and present information clearly and effectively
Examples of leading yourself and others through previous work experience – generating a vision, establishing direction and motivating team members
Passionate about client service
Capable to build relationships which are genuine and rooted in trust with clients and teams
Ability to thrive in an environment of pressing deadlines and changing conditions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate new ideas
Willingness to take initiative and assume responsibility
An ability to travel to client sites across Canada
