• In this role you'll assume responsibility for the delivery of end to end financial control activity for the NatWest Holdings Legal Entities

What you'll do

As Finance Risk and Control Manager, you’ll ensure the integrity of monthly, quarterly and annual financial information, including balance sheet, profit and loss account, internal and external reporting and other supporting data. You’ll comply with relevant policies. including Ring-Fenced Bank Policies, and consider and escalate the adequacy and effectiveness of the business’s controls.

Through the course of your work, you’ll:

• Help shape the strategy and operating model for the NatWest Holdings Legal Entities, with the overriding objective of establishing and maintaining trust and confidence of customers and stakeholders
• Provide clear and accurate analytical review and challenge
• Lead and drive continuous improvement that supports the strategic direction
• Take the lead on developing the optimal model for the function
• Be responsible for the successful delivery of mandatory and strategic programmes that impact on the key financial and compliance reporting outputs

The skills you'll need

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring previous financial control experience, preferably gained in a financial services environment. You’ll have worked in a global business, and will hold an accounting qualification, or significant relevant experience.

• Experience of building and maintaining strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders in changing environment

• An astute eye for detail and exceptional problem solving capability
• Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly and succinctly articulate issues to senior management
