Join us as a Financial Crime Solutions Platform Lead

• We’re looking for a strong influencer, with proven experience of running large scale technology platforms end-to-end, with Strategy, Plan, Build, Operate and Control experience
• You’ll be delivering, owning and maintaining the platform’s operational stability and performance technology
• You’ll need significant experience of working as ‘One Bank’, joining up with Data, Franchise and Services teams to deliver One Bank solutions and run resilient and reliable platforms
• You’ll be able to really make this role your own, allowing excellent exposure for you and your work

What you'll do

We’ll be asking you to own the direction, engineering and delivery of critical financial crime platforms, to simplify and improve of the platform architecture, technology and data. You’ll build and deliver the platform roadmap, working with the centres of excellence to make sure you have the right the resources. On top of this, you’ll use your expertise to make sure that business solutions are optimised for our customers’ needs and the overall technology strategy. You’ll be working in our Financial Crime Hub, specifically supporting Payment Filtering, Customer Screening, Anti-Tax Evasion, Anti-Bribery and Corruption therefore experience in these areas would be extremely beneficial. You’ll need to have a good awareness of the Financial Crime marketplace, their solutions and the evolving Financial and Regulatory Technology Participants.

You’ll also be:

• Taking ownership of the financial, commercial and overall performance of the platform
• Managing the platform risk culture, making sure that teams effectively collaborate to mitigate risk
• Delivering the regulatory reporting and managing the relevant budgets provided
• Leading a team of several hundred colleagues and key vendors to deliver key outcomes for the Bank and to ensure the technology platforms are stable, resilient and reliable

The skills you'll need

In this role, you’ll need to have in-depth domain or platform product knowledge and experience. Significant experience in commercial and delivery management of vendors, including contract negotiations, service management and delivery management are also important elements of this role. You’ll need to possess skills in operational risk management, along with strong commercial acumen with an acute understanding of the business landscape.

You’ll also be expected to have:

• Strong leadership skills, including Agile and servant leadership experience
• Proven experience of building and maintaining key stakeholder relationships at all levels in an organisation
• Architecture, design and engineering skills, relevant to the specific platform
• Experience of working and running high performance, large scaled Agile and non-Agile programmes, projects and teams
• Experience of working in a Financial Crime or Fraud business is preferred
