Job Description

The Role

You’ll work with the Finance and Economic Regulation team to raise the profile of the SZC project through a programme of external engagement, including meetings and promotional events, with financial institutions, regulators and government officials as well as key financial journalists. 


Through building relationships with these stakeholders, you’ll help develop the narrative and key messages about Sizewell C and its proposed funding model for a financial audience.


Additionally, you’ll produce communications materials setting out Sizewell C’s uniqueness as a ‘net zero’ project and prepare speeches and briefings for senior members of the executive team.
 

The Skills

 You’ll bring prior experience of working in financial PR, with a good understanding of the requirements of financial reporting. You’ll understand how investors think and appreciate the growing importance of environmental, social and governance  issues. You’ll be experienced in answering questions from journalists and have good contacts among key media outlets. 


Perhaps you’ve worked on a large infrastructure project or within the energy industry, meaning you’ve got a good understanding of how such projects are financed, and ideally an understanding of Government energy policy. 


Additionally, you’ll be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to develop and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
